the last couple of days i've been able to do a little hunting... i spotted some european pillow shams ($1.99 each) soft brown corduroy, white cotton and another pretty set in a floral linen. i was pleased to say the least. |

also made a bee line for this granny square blanket. it's large and thick... won't it lovely this winter? |

looks like i am officially collecting vintage dogs... (made in japan) so far i have 3. i love the crackled finish. |

both girls were free today so i packed a quick lunch and we took off to the cottage for the afternoon. |

how can it already be the 11th of july? i am still trying to sort out the details of our summer... these two girls and their busy lives have filled the calender quickly and left little space for "us" time. we have a day or two here and there, but i've got both of them for five straight days in august. until then i'll remind myself that this is it. we have officially begun summer fun. making plans as fast as i can! xox |
