friday...photos from my week (around my yard)

i walked by this shrub/tree and the berries
took my breath away...
i had a little heart palpitation and ran home
for my camera.
true story.

not a fan of spiders...
but i LOVE the colour co-ordination!

wildflowers are taking over the perimeter of the property.
i'm totally fine with that.

elsie says i'm obsessed with these berries...
she's right.

i've had many handfuls this week...

they just make me want to stop whatever i'm doing,
sit a while and snack...

summing up how i'm feeling right now...

so bored to hang out here all day...
when will winter go away?
it's so cold out
our feet get frozen when we play outside...

you. have. got. to. be. kidding. me.
what the heck?
more freakin' snow??!!

yes i know...
it IS beautiful.

see this messy drawer?
welcome to my life.
cluttered, unorganized...
feels a tad crazy at times.
it really isn't though.
i am just feeling this way.
aka CABIN FEVER.

when i emptied the drawer
i found this lonely little fortune.
isn't life ironic?
since there's a few years of
junk in here?

so i did just that.
sifted through it.
tossed the junk.
found things i loved but had forgotten about.
organized.
lined things up for future use.

oh dear,
realized another addiction.

and another.
they make me smile.
i just heard that our spring this year
will be a cold one,
so i'll keep busy getting all my ducks in a row.
ok, they're not ducks,
but you know what i mean...

eat, pray, love and fold

i thought i would treat myself to a movie.
i never do this,

i chose "eat, pray, love".
i read the book a couple of years ago
and i loved it.

julia was FABULOUS....
the movie was beautiful.
it took me away...
while i folded laundry.
(i am addicted to pjammie bottoms)

it had me craving spaghetti...
and a hut in bali.
the men in the movie were all as beautiful
and captivating
as ms. roberts herself.

see it if you haven't.
it's lovely.
