little things...since last time...

we're still here...
these two critters are driving me crazy.
they have perfected their routine.
first he does his thing,
then she does her thing...
and then they attack each other.
each time i have to say
"HEY! cut it out!"
then they laugh and laugh....
they do this over and over...
like 43 times a day.

trying some more new pinterest recipes.
some have been really yummy.
some have been horrible.
that's when i shake my fist and say,
"DAMN pinterest!!"

somebody got some very pretty flowers for valentine's day.
wasn't me.
(but i pretended they were mine)

this morning
i was up kind of early...
a few minutes passed before i noticed this.

i think it may be the prettiest snowfall
we've had this year...
i was out on the porch immediately...
barefooted....
camera in hand.
smiling.

my ooops hair.

i am sharing.
only because some of you asked... xo

when i feel the need (like if i'm stressed)
i grab the scissors and snip, snip, snip.
i have done it for years
when you have thick curly hair you can (sort of) hide
imperfections or mistakes.
every year or so i visit my forgiving hairdresser.

so last week i really surprised myself
by kind of accidentally taking off a bit more
than i had planned.
oooops!

it's kind of choppy...
kind of weird.
it's taken me a few restless nights to get over it.
now i think it looks just fine...
it will grow back.
thank goodness.

it's snowing today.
we seem to be through the deep freeze.
i have so many things i'd like to talk about,
but i can't seem to sit still for more than a few minutes...
can't seem to organize my thoughts.

i cut off my hair.
that's what people do mid-february isn't it?
it feels good.
i will wear a hat.

i hope that today you tell someone that you love them...
it's such a nice gift.
chocolate is nice too...
and so are flowers...
but unconditional love is the best.
