mid february already?

we had an abnormally busy little weekend...two sleepover nights and a day at the ski hill.

here's my little valentine sweety...she's five now. so smart and chatty. very creative and talented too. hope to have her here more often...she is at a great age for sleepovers. i can't even begin to mention all the stuff her and elsie did together...she is a busy girl.

this is the time of year when the days feel a bit less "wintery"...a wee bit less. heaven when the sun shines. wishing for some of it now. until then i will be here cheering on the canadian atheletes...go canada go!......even the hockey team...

where have i been?

ok. christmas, both girls got the chicken pox. january it snowed and snowed... and it was cold. oliver got fixed... and then it snowed and it was cold. the deer don't even come around anymore. that's cold. mike and i snuck into the big city for a night and enjoyed a concert. it was the coldest night in toronto so far this winter...no hiding from it there. but look how pretty the moon was that night...

we walked around and shopped a bit. grabbed a quick dinner...for goodness sake we ate at the food court. but i was totally ok with that because i love the eaton centre. i have great memories of time spent there. i was there many times with different people and i can remember them all.

papa, aunt be, mike, jenny, rosy, stacy, jimmy, sharon, kristen, darcy, lorelee...etc.

honestly, it was the most exciting thing to happen so far this winter. well, besides the chicken pox and pupper's stitches. good times ahead though...we are off to the sunny south in a month!! YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!!!

i miss you blog! i really really miss you. i feel so plain and uncreative without her...
