feels like summer!

we spent a beautiful afternoon at the lake. got some jobs done and had some fun in the sun too.

the water was so warm for may...i don't think it got this warm at all last summer. it's so nice to have two big girls in the water with the little cousins...

looking forward to lots of days here this summer...it's been a while.

so i have my fingers crossed that this last week is just the start of a great summer.

slowly the garden is coming back to life...

a little too slow for my liking...

thank goodness for a lovely bunch i picked up at the store the other day...

does the trick. don't you think? in the garden tulips will be arriving daily, daffodils too. everyday it makes me smile. lilacs, iris, lilies and lavender=love.
