bramble berries...

everywhere i look i see these yummy berries.
i've had many handfuls this week...

they just make me want to stop whatever i'm doing,
sit a while and snack...

august friends..

we did it again...
6 chicks hung out at the lake.
excited to share colours,
and stories and fun.

you can only tell that a year has passed
by the way they've grown taller.
other than that...
it's all the same to them.

they enjoy each other's company.
it's so easy.
...movies, games, swimming, manicures, shopping
and late night chats...
no agenda...no judgement
no expectations or competition.
only friendship.
it works well.

friendship is not an easy thing to find these days.
everyone is so busy...

...but it's worth the effort.
there is nothing better than a true friend.
someone who knows you and loves you anyway...
