lunch at the lake...

both girls were free today
so i packed a quick lunch
and we took off to the cottage for the afternoon.

it was one of those perfect muskoka days...
hot and not a cloud in the sky.

so glad it's only 20 minutes down the road...

fail to plan, plan to fail...

how can it already be the 11th of july?
i am still trying to sort out the details of our summer...
these two girls and their busy lives
have filled the calender quickly
and left little space for "us" time.
we have a day or two here and there,
but i've got both of them for five straight days in august.
until then i'll remind myself that this is it.
we have officially begun summer fun.
making plans as fast as i can!
