time to do another catch up! my sweet, loving, funny, talented, clever, stylish, beautiful and totally cool girl turned 13. thirteen. we now have 2 teenage daughters... give me strength... and patience... and any additional superpowers to get me through this. |

she requested a pineapple upside-down cake... so out came nanny's recipe. funny how food is such a connection to memories. it was as yummy as hers... why the heck did i wait so long? |

Happy birthday!! My sisters daughter turns 13 next week too. I always see her as 4 years old in my minds eye. I use to hate when old people would talk about how fast we kids grew, but gosh darn it, they were right!
