go go hoyas!

it was cold and very snowy and blowy...
but it was excellent!!
this was the first time these races had ever been
held on a main street.
before last night this street was bare.
truckload after truckload of snow was brought in
to create the route.

huntsville hosted 97 ontario high school nordic teams.
(oh look! here comes little heather!!)

it was so exciting to see our friend come down the street
fighting for first place during her lap
of the relay.

YAY!
...she looks so serious here...

(they came first by the way)

then it was the senior boys' turn...

and again we were cheering on
our racer in first place during his lap...
oh how fun...i came home
soaked to the skin...
and i can't feel my toes,
but it was completely worth it.

We were so jealous down here in Bracebridge...it looked like so much fun! And how awesome that you guys not only hosted it, but hosted in downtown...and trucked snow in for it! Amazing!...glad you enjoyed. :o)

How fun! I love that that they had it on Main Street! Wish I could have seen it - I'm feeling a tad homesick right now :(
