red, orange, teal, green...pink

it's that time of year once again...
i look out my window
and see the leaves are starting to turn
shades of gold and red.
the nights are crisp
and we are getting the urge to
get cozy and make comfort foods once again.

i am also hungry for colour...
can't get enough of it.

this was about a week ago.
i stood with my camera in hand
and tried to count the colours.

inhale...
smile.

yesterday we hit the thrift store.
don't judge me...
little frog planter will grow on you.
...honest.

sweet deer planter says
please take me home...

this was a great find...
3 small needlepoint pieces.

2$ each.
someone was crazy to give them up.

this adorable porcelain tray is petite and precious...

the wee roses are much appreciated by me...

the last time i was at the store
i left this behind.
wasn't foolish enough to make that mistake again...
(i think i'm up to a dozen now)
this one has so many unusual colour combinations.
love it.
xoxo
happy weekend!

Wow you really found some gems! I cant imagine anyone giving up those needlepoints either. Or the afghan - its sad that someone put hours into creating them only to have them donated and sold for peanuts.
Your sky pics are gorgeous. I love Muskoka in the fall and miss the views we had across the river. Xo
