what's going on?

Sorry for the huge gap there....

This is what happened. My computer died. And I lost my photos. And now my camera is not doing what it is supposed to. Honestly, it is such a bummer! Kind of threw me for a loop.

Not like real life has stood still though.

New baby nephew arrived Sept 1st. Little Hudson has already stolen the hearts of everyone who has met him.

The girls have gotten back into the groove of school days again. Elsie is going to have the best year ever...really wonderful teacher... Emma is in highschool. Cell phone in her pocket. I don't think I need to worry about her.

I need to fix my blog glitch.

Working on it. Promise.

road trip

Just a short note...I am too tired to sit here and write a long one. I can't be the only Mom that returns home from a vacation still needing a vacation.... I don't sleep well when I'm away. We had a great time and we all still like each other.

Isn't this cabin adorable? It was so cozy. Tucked away under a big old oak tree. Wish we could have stayed there longer. I enjoyed walking down to the beach after the sun had set. I lit sparklers and the girls couldn't have been any happier. They ran around barefoot on the golf course and rolled down the hilly parts...I think one of them even forgot that she is starting high school...

This is my mermaid...so glad she hasn't grown up too fast.

My little lovey, dripping butterscotch swirl all over her new hoodie. I didn't care. We were having fun.

Glad to be home. Time to get back into the routine. I get to have a nap on Tuesday! It will be so quiet around here....
